![]() Thanks to that enlightenment, I wish to relive the magnificence of FFVI with the gorgeous modernization of sprite-based graphics in Square Enix’s HD-2D engine. That’s when it finally clicked, and I discovered that FFVI was an epic work of art and the RPG genre was a vast world of immersive gaming plus storytelling. It was after a friend walked me through the first part of the game, showing me what it was all about, that the confusion debuff was removed. Town environments lacked platforming and instead were filled with many NPCs to talk with, which didn’t compute in my arcade game frame of mind. With its plodding dialogue, numerous menus, and lack of real-time action, I was befuddled. The game holds a unique place in my fond memories because when I first played, my high hopes were dashed as I didn’t understand it. These included Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Brea, Shadows Over Loathing, Teslagrad was Remastered and we got a brand new one too with Teslagrad 2, oh and Coffee Talk Episode 2!Įven after that, I’ve probably missed something.Final Fantasy VI was originally released as Final Fantasy III for the Super NES in America.īack when the title was Final Fantasy III on the Super NES in America, it was the first RPG that I ever encountered. Then halfway through this week got a Indie Direct, and that means shadow drops. Fans of early access will enjoy Disney Speedstorm as well. Then we’ve finally got those Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters, thankfully with the font fixed. New release highlights: As if I’m not putting Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp first, would you expect anything less? Here’s our review too. A good chunk of the games below should be on your radar, and even if not everything is to your taste there’s got to be at least one thing. What a week for Nintendo Switch owners, there are 60+ games there below and yeah usually every week there’s at least 50 so it’s not too many – but there’s a different. ![]()
